Ready to write a book?

Standard

I had a great conversation with Faye Levow Friday. She’s a book-writing coach, editor and author and one of the best networkers I’ve ever met. We’ve been swapping leads and social sites so I asked her to send me a blurb about what she does. If you have a book in your head, consider taking Faye’s course or hiring her to help!

Faye Levow is a book-writing coach, editor and author, passionate about helping you get your message out to your audience so they take action! She is creator of “The Writer’s Launch Pad,” a 2-day seminar designed to help you launch that book out of your head!
Her websites are: http://www.WriteYourBestSellerNow.com (where you will find a free ecourse and more info on “The Writer’s Launch Pad”) and http://www.JustTheWriteWords.com (where you will learn more about her writing and editing).

I don’t write for fun – I write for money.

It’s a damn good story. If you have any comments, write them on the back of a check.

I love this quote. This is sort of my philosophy on writing: write something great, collect your money and move on to the next piece. (Or resell the same piece if you retained your rights.) Of course, you shouldn’t have to TELL an editor it’s “damn good” – your writing should speak for itself. But it works in this quote because it’s funny.  FYI, I don’t write because “I love the craft” blah blah blah. I enjoy what I do, but I do it for a living. For MONEY!
